Incidents of finding Scrapped notes on rise

Today in Ahmedabad, SOG Special Operations Group Rural arrested two persons with demonetized notes worth Rs 49.93 lakhs from Sanathal Circle. SOG has taken scrapped notes into their custody and started further investigations. IT department has been informed.
The notes were found in denominations of Rs 500 and Rs 1000.
After announcement of demonetization by government and after normalcy, many incidents of finding scrapped notes are coming to surface at various places in the state.
