With launch of second private train Tejas Express in India from Ahmedabad-Mumbai route, schedules of 33 trains have been rescheduled. Halting time at 13 stations have been changed. Time upto 5 to 10 minutes have been changed on 11 stations on the route.
2655 Ahmedabad-MGR, Chennal Central, Navjivan Express will be delayed by 25 minutes.
19016 Porbandar-Mumbai Saurashtra Express delayed by 55 minutes.
14 Mail Express Train and 4 Memu Train schedules changed by 5 to 10 minutes.
2 Mail and Express Train and 2 Memu Train timings increased by 5 minutes.
Speed of Tejas Express has been raised to 130 kms. Western Railway is interested in timely train services of private train.
Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani flagged-off Ahmedabad-Mumbai Tejas Express, the semi-high speed train equipped with modern facilities and flight-like onboard services, amid much fanfare from Ahmedabad Railway Station this morning, which will be on track for commercial run from January 19.
