Today Adani Group has been successful in tendering process to operate five AAI Airport Authority India owned airports for a tenure of 50 years.
Adani will be able to operate and upgrade Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Lucknow, Mangalore and Trivandrum Airports of AAI for 50 years. Adani will be able to operate airports except area of ATC Air Traffic Control and Communication.
Sixth tender to operate Guwahati airport is not yet opened.
Adani by winning this tender has formally made and entry in civil aviation. They are also negotiating to take over share of GVK FIR in Mumbai airport.
