In Ahmedabad, Ellis Bridge police arrested 3 persons with a cash of Rs 1.40 crores. On Wednesday night police conducted a raid based on clue about large cash being counted in builder’s office in Bhuderpura by builder Anand Hemdra Shah, Hem Shah and Dinesh Rabari.
During police raid banned currency notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 were seized. Even builder was not able to give satisfactory answer on source of money. They were booked under section 41-1-d. Police took their custody and informed Income Tax office also.
