Today in Ahmedabad, from Navrangpura area, police arrested 8 gamblers. Month of Shravan is coming up and some people gamble during the month casually and some for money. 8 persons were arrested by police during raid in a house of Rashmikant Shah in Tirthbhumi apartment of Navrangpura.
Cash worth Rs 3 lakhs was found from gamblers and other material worth Rs 5 lakhs was found. Coins used by gamblers were found from the site during police raid. Gamblers tried to hide their identity by tieing handerchief on their face and tried to keep away from camera as they felt ashamed of being caught redhandedly by police.
