Ahmedabad city getting water logging problems through out the city, traffic jams, closing of main routes and redirection of traffic indicates Ahmedabad Municiap corporations failure to combat heavy rains despite of claims of pre-monsoon plans.
Thursday a group of aggravated Protestors, allegedly from Congress party, threw water on Standing Committee Chairman Bhupendra Patel for AMC’s inefficiency to resolve issue water logging in the city . Most of the areas of city were under water after rain for two consecutive nights. Waterlogged areas, even 24 hours after the rain, left people inconvenienced and furious.
A group of protestors, allegedly belonging to the Congress, ransacked the office of the chairman of standing committee Bhupendra Patel protesting against the AMC’s failure to resolve the issue of water logging.
However, the Congress has denied the attack clarified that whoever attacked the chairman of standing committee didn’t belong to the Congress.
