Today in Dantiwada, Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel dedicated Rs 418 crore Dantiwada-Sipu pipeline connecting arid regions of Banaskantha with the main canal of River Narmada. 6 talukas, 42 villages and 9000 hectares of land of Banaskantha will receive better irrigation through this pipeline. Also dedicated Rs 110 crore Dantiwada dam oriented water supply scheme that will provide potable water to over 123 villages-suburb areas. This 80 km long pipeline will provide clean drinking water to BSF soldiers performing duties on 31 border outposts in North Gujarat.
