Central government approved Rs 730.90 crores for Sardar Sarovar Narmada project canal network

Today Central government approved Rs 730.90 crores for Sardar Sarovar Narmada project canal network under irrigation scheme informed Gujarat deputy chief minister Nitin Patel in Gandhinagar.

Patel further added that Narmada project was among 99 shortlisted projects. Centre sanctioned along term irrigation loan of Rs 1484.391 crores at the rate of 6 % under LTIF Long Term Irrigation Fund. It will boost up construction of canal work of Narmada project.

Patel was thankful to PM Modi for sanction of LTIF.
