Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel has announced a financial aid of Rs. 5 crore for Tamil Nadu towards flood relief.

“I have directed the officials to immediately release of Rs. 5 crore from the Chief Minister’s relief fund as assistance to the people of Tamil Nadu ,” Ms. Patel said while announcing the aid on Twitter.

“Devastation caused by incessant rains in Tamil Nadu has grieved the entire nation. Gujarat firmly stands with the people of Tamil Nadu during these testing times,” Ms.Patel tweeted.
