Today, Dandi March was organised by Gujarat Congress starting from Gandhi Ashram. The yatra was attended by Congress seniors like Ahmedabad Patel, Gujarat President Bharatsinh Solanki, Shankersinh Vaghela and other Congress partymen. Ahmed Patel had offered cotton thread to statue of Gandhiji. Speaking on the occasion Ahmed Patel said Sardar Patel was the best organiser. Even after his jail for information to youth he organised a March. Issues of people like price rise and unemployment will be voiced in the yatra.
On Om Mathur’s remarks on Rahul Gandhi, he said we donot want to do cheap politics, it is their culture, added Patel.
