In Dev Bhumi 9 gram panchayats of Dwarka taluka have become Samaras out of 19 gram panchayats.

Till June 2016, in Gujarat 3,794 gram panchayats have become samaras in six stages. The government has sanctioned substantial amount of Rs.2306.40 lakhs as incentive grant.
