Today in Bhuj, a high level review meeting was held in IG office in connection with the upcoming DG conference scheduled to be held at Dhordo in Kutchh district of Gujarat during December 18 to 20. Prime Minister Narendra Modi may attend DG Conference of Kutch. The meeting was attended by top officials of the Central Intelligence Bureau DG , the Air Force, Border Security Force and CISF. IG of Kutch stated that the meeting was attended by the security wing of the PMO, an indication for the almost certain participation of Mr. Modi.
Yesterday DGP said that the expansion of terrorist organisation, ISIS, and its threat to the country will be the main issue to be discussed at the conference. DGPs and IGs of all states and Union Territories, heads of CBI, IB, NIA, Narcotics Department and various police training academies would attend the conference, besides the DGs and IGs of para-military forces such as BSF, CRPF and CISF.
