Eco Friendly Ganesh Chaturthi prescribed by Ahmedabad Police Commissioner
Today in Ahmedabad, in wake of upcoming Ganesh Chaturthi starting from 25th August Police Commissioner has given following 4 point notification.
- Instead of submerging Ganesh Idol into river or lake to be left on the bank only.
- Abstain from using Symbols of other religions in making Ganesh Idol.
- Idol makers are advised not to keep damaged idol.
- Height of Ganesh Idol to be less than 9 feet with an eco friendly Idol.
Above notifications to be strictly complied with else action for violating notifications will be taken by police.
