In a good news to Mango lovers, amid nationwide lockdown due to Covid-19 outbreak, Conditional permission is given to mango traders and vendors in Surat. Mangoes will be sold outside APMC Agriculture Produce Marketing Committee market in Surat.
For the first time in Summer season It will be sold at Piplod, Bhimrad and Krushi Bazar Ring road in Surat. From 6 centers in Surat city, selling of mangoes is permitted only in 10 kg and 20 kg boxes.
In Surat, this season 10 kg Alphonso mango is sold at Rs 750 whereas 10 kg Kesar mango is sold at Rs 725 per box.
Traders are advised to insist on digital payment for purchase of mangoes.
