On 31st May 2019, Dr JN Singh Chief Secretary and 1983-batch IAS officer of Gujarat Government superannuating today has got extension of 6 months. Government has awarded him extension looking at his excellent work experience and crisis managed by him during community agitations, farmers’ unrest, drought and other issues faced by state government.
Four IAS officers are awaiting for their promotion due, secretary Singh got an extension for 6 months after his superannuation.
