Gujarat Congress to stage Jail Bharo Andolan over farmers demand

Gujarat Congress has decided to stage protest on 8, 9 and 10 June over Gujarat farmers’ unresolved demands of MSP Minimum Sell Price, loan waiver and sufficient electricity.

Farmers are not getting adequate rate for their produce from government.

Gujarat Congress plans to have Ghantnad on 8th June to awake government and on 9th and 10th June to have Road blocking and Jail Bharo Andolan on behalf of farmers said opposition leader Paresh Dhanani.

Still farmer loans are given at 7 % interest rate for purchase of seeds and pesticides, instead of 0% loan to farmers added Dhanani.
