Gujarat HC petition against minister Shankar Chaudhary for allegedly obtaining fake degree

In Ahmedabad, petitioner Farsu Goklani has filed a complaint petition claiming of obtaining fake MBA degree the Gujarat’s minister of Health and Family welfare, Road and Transport and Urban Housing Departments, was fake. Claiming that the MBA degree of Gujarat Minister Shankar Chaudhari was fake. Goklani, is a local Congress leader from Radhanpur constituency of North Gujarat has filed a petition in the Gujarat high court demanding a probe in the matter.

‘In 2012 affidavit made to Election Commission by Chaudhuri along with his nomination papers as BJP candidate from Radhanpur constituency claimed that he has otained an MBA degree from National Institute of Management (NIM), Mumbai. But it can’t be a genuine one as he has said that he passed his 10+2 in 2011. My contention is that how can any one get a genuine MBA degree within a year of passing the intermediate examination. His claim was also disputed earlier in Vadodara,’ said petitioner.

The four term MLA from Radhanpur, Mr. Chaudhari contested his first ever election of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly against the then Chief Minister Shri Shankarsinh Vaghela in 1997 and defeated him. He is constantly wining from the seat ever since 1997.

However reacting on the issue, Chaudhary said the issue has been cropped by Congress and I respect legal system. Truth will be revealed.

Presently it is learnt that National Institue of Management, a Vadodara based management institute located in Alkapuri at Concord Complex was locked for past 7 years, where from Chaudhary obtained MBA degree. Even, it was seen that fake degrees were lying outside the institute till today which proves genuineness of the institute. Ex security guard allegedly stated that institute was closed because fake degrees were issued by the institute. Also Police complaint was lodged against the institute, as per sources.
