Today, Bollywood actor Jiah Khan’s mother, assured the Bombay High Court that she would not make damaging statements on Sooraj Pancholi and Aditya Pancholi or Zarina Wahab. She complained of her Twitter account being hacked several times in the past, Rabiya’s lawyer during the hearing of defamation suit filed by Pancholis against her before the Bombay High Court. I don’t have to do anything with a few comments in the past. But I will not tweet anything in future,” said her lawyer.
However, Justice Suresh Gupte made it clear that the statement would not bar her from talking to the investigating agencies, like police or CBI , in connection with the probe of her daughter’s suicide. Pancholis have filed Rs.100 crore defamation suit against Rabiya for ‘posting slanderous, defamatory and abusive’ comments through her Twitter account. Pancholi’s lawyer told the court that even after filing defamation suit, Rabiya kept posting slanderous comments. Defending lawyer took some time in filing her reply to the defamation suit, as she was planning to go abroad.The court granted her four weeks and adjourned the case till August 25.
