It is learnt that for past 20 to 25 days, villagers of Apruji village in Kathlal Taluka in Kheda District of Gujarat ar living under cloud of scar.
As per villagers, they are noticing strange incidents of a group of people comes to attack them when they are asleep in night in their varandahs. They are constantly living under fear of being attacked in night. Some people’s ears were bited, some people were beaten by attackers, women were beaten on stomach.
Dehgam MLA lady said that I had personally called Gujarat Home Minister Rajni Patel to provide police protection to villagers.
Even after representation about fear of villagers have to protect themselves on their own. They have to be awake from night till morning. Because of fear children are not sent to the school. Some villagers say attackers are terrorists and some other say they are black magicians. There are some eye witnesses of the incident.
Today Gujarat Congress leader Shankersinh Vaghela took up the matter by informing DG and holding Press Meet in Ahmedabad. Vaghela said all possible help will provided to villagers by taking this matter to BJP government. He raised question of villagers’ protection by government.
Effect of this incident is spread to Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar districts even.
However, of late state minister Nitin Patel urges people not to get driven by rumours.
Whether there is any political stunt will be decided over period of time.
