In a relief to commuters, government has announced that the price of petrol will be cut by Rs 2.25 paise and diesel by Rs 0.42 paise.

New petrol price in Delhi will become ₹ 62.51 per litre and of diesel ₹ 54.28 per litre,” said IOC Indian Oil Corporation in a statement.
