Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address from Red Fort on Independence Day

Tomorrow on account of 15th August and Indepence Day will be a historic day in Indian calender. Independence Day will be very important for our Prime Minister Day as he will be addressing people of India from historical monument of Red Fort. PM Modi is is expected to reach the Red Fort at around 7.20 am. After a Guard of Honour by the armed forces, he will unfurl the national flag. It is also learnt that Modi will directly deliver his speech without having any text or note with him. Modi’s oratorial skills are well known to people. Modi will continue his speech, even if rain comes. Sources said he will not use any umbrella and talk even in rain.

Modi’s speech, is likely to last 45 minutes to 60 minutes long, is set to break new ground in more ways than one.

As far as arrangements are concerned, Seating facility is being prepared for more than 10,000 people to attend. Millions more can see it from home as the event will be live streamed in India and abroad. An ambitious plan of the Information and Broadcasting Ministry includes sending “40 crore SMSes” to highlight Mr Modi’s speech. Films and vignettes on his life will also be shown by state broadcaster Doordarshan.
