Supreme Court Judges held press conference against CJI
Today in New Delhi, 4 sitting judges of the Supreme Court held a press conference on the issues plaguing the apex court CJI Chief Justic of India Dipak Misra, triggered by issues around a case on the death of special CBI Judge BH Loya and the roster of justices at the Supreme Court.
The press conference was held at residence of Justice J. Chelameswar. It was addressed by Justices Ranjan Gogoi, Madan B. Lokur and Kurian Joseph. The press conference was held while the Supreme Court was in session and the day after 2 major appointments to the apex court were made.
Justice Gogoi said to media that the press conference was prompted by issues surrounding the death of special CBI Judge Loya.
