Written exam of Gujarat Forest Guard (Vanrakshak) for 334 posts was scheduled to be held on 23 December 2018 during 11 am to 1 pm.
Academic qualifications for the post is 12th class pass applicant.
As per latest notification by Gujarat Forest Department the exam has been cancelled. 6,25,000 applications against the vacancy of 334 posts have been received by the department.

It is learnt that due to Prime Minister visit to Gujarat, exam of Vanrakshak 2018 was cancelled.
Recently, paper of lokrakshak dal (police recruitment 2018) was leak and exam of 8,76,000 applicants was cancelled. In the case five accused have been arrested and started further investigation.
