Ahmedabad ruckus by textile traders at New Cloth Market
Today in Ahmedabad, 350 cloth market and textile traders created ruckus at a Safal-3 building behind New Cloth Market.
In the morning, ruckus was created when about 350 textile traders tried to open their shops in Safal-3 building.
The traders had given a memorandum before 2 days of peaceful protest against GST implementation by government recently. Permission was denied by the police.
After incident of lathicharge on protesting textile traders by police in Surat, Ahmedabad traders had asked for permission to make peaceful protest against GST.
However, in Ahmedabad no lathicharge was done by police on traders.
