Ahmedabad : Gujarat Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) has arrested three suspected terrorists from Hyderabad in a coordinated interstate operation.
According to sources, the suspects had alleged links with Pakistan-based handlers and were reportedly planning anti-national activities. Based on intelligence inputs, Gujarat ATS teams reached Hyderabad and conducted the arrests with support from Telangana Police.
Officials have confirmed that the suspects were communicating using encrypted messaging apps and were allegedly radicalized through online networks.
Electronic devices, mobile phones, and documents have been seized and are currently being examined.
The accused are being brought to Gujarat for further questioning.
Security agencies are now trying to identify their local support network, financial routes used for funding and any possible sleeper cells
