Gandhinagar, September 06, 2025: The School of Management, Commerce and Liberal Arts at Swarrnim Startup & Innovation University, in collaboration with the School of Science, Commerce and IT, hosted a seminar titled Pocket Money to Portfolio: Building a Strong Financial Future on 3 September 2025. The event drew 110 enthusiastic participants.
Guided by Dr Sourbhi Chaturvedi, Director, SMCLA, the session was led by SEBI-certified Smart Trainer Dr Hiral Trivedi Pathak. She highlighted the risks of fraudulent schemes, the significance of Demat and trading accounts, the role of mutual funds in personal goal setting, and the long-term power of compounding.
The seminar encouraged students to adopt disciplined wealth-creation strategies and offered valuable insights into financial markets and investor awareness.
