Ahmedabad, October 16, 2025: The Training and Placement Department of Swarrnim Startup and Innovation University recently organised a session titled ‘Professionalism Beyond Books’ to help first-year students and faculty members understand on how one can survive and thrive in modern-day corporate culture.
The session was led by Ms Monica Srivastava, Head of HR at Pronix Tech LLP, who shared insights from her extensive industry experience. She highlighted how true professionalism goes beyond academic achievement and how it is rooted in accountability, emotional intelligence, and ethical behaviour.
Ms Srivastava also emphasised on the importance of communication skills, adaptability, and grooming in building a strong professional identity for oneself. Through real-life examples, she also demonstrated how soft skills, and a positive attitude can help shape one’s long-term career growth. Some 95 members including students and faculty attended the session and engaged in discussions too.
Speaking on the initiative, Shri Adi Rishabh Jain, Vice President, Swarrnim Startup and Innovation University, said, “Sessions like these help bridge the gap between classroom learning and industry expectations, preparing students to face the professional world with confidence.
