Amrakunj festival of 1.25 lakh mangoes at Shree Kalyan Pushti Haveli in Ahmedabad

1.25 lakh Mangoes (Amrakunj) were offered by Vaishnavs at Shree Kalyan Pushti Haveli in Vastrapur area of Ahmedabad city today afternoon during 5;30 pm to 8 pm. Offering was done by Dwarkeshlalji Maharaj. All devotees and Vasihnavs took darshan at Amrakunj festival and enjoyed prasad. Haveli was decorated with mangoes and its petals.

School and colleges in the state to get 8 days Navaratri vacation, as today Gujarat government has once again declared a vacation from 30 September to 7 October. There was a protest against Gujarat government’s decision 9 days vacation for all schools and colleges during Navratri festival resulting in shorter Diwali vacation which will be for 2 weeks instead of 3 weeks.
