Gujarat cadre Indian Police Service(IPS) officer Abhay Chudasama has taken VRS, voluntary retirement, from his service in Police department. He was to superannuate by October 2025. A 1999 batch IPS, Chudasama was serving as ADG Additional Director General of Gujarat Police. He was posted as Principal of the State police academy in Karai Gandhinagar.
