Tell us about your Character in the film?
Well, its basically a Detective Film so I can’t reveal much about my character. I have Character of “Munna” in the Film. I am in Vidya’s Team. I basically Help Vidya to solve the cases.
How was your experience working with Actress Vidya Balan?
It was a Great Experience working with her. She is a Good Actress and a person as well. We all have met at the Workshops before shooting of the Film started. So we all had got nice bonding with each other. I can say that we have been working as a Family, and the Film is very emotional for me because I lost my Dad just 15 to 20 days before starting of the Film. So everyone helped and encouraged me to do this Film.
How did you Switched from Casting to Acting?
I was basically an Actor in Delhi. I have worked 7 years in theatre in Delhi, then I shifted to Mumbai and started working with Casting Director, Mukesh Chhabra. To grow as an Actor, by casting others is very good. Because of casting ability, which helped me to reach to Director easily.
You are doing Supporting roles uptill now, so any plans to do Lead roles?
If you are not a starson and don’t have good films then it is difficult to get lead roles. Basically you have to struggle a lot, for that and I am trying my level best for getting lead roles. But as an actor if I get Good character than I am satisfied. Every character I played, are all different uptill now.
How was working experience with your Producers Dia Mirza and Saahil?
I have never seen such Hard-working Producers in my life. They use to take care of each and every person on the set. They never did any partition among anyone. They made film with much love and affection.
How was your Bonding with Ali Fazal?
Ali is very old and good friend of mine from my casting days. I don’t have much shots with Ali in the Film but I have attended workshops with him. We all had a great time.
What are your upcoming Projects?
I am doing Zeeshan Qadari’s “Meerat Ke Gangsters” and untilted film of Nikhil Advani.
Message to your fans
I am mostly popular among children after my film ”Chillar Party”. So my all fans will see there “Googly Uncle” in a new and different role. Please go and watch my Film and enjoy it..!!
