Today in Ahmedabad, one SRP Special Reserve Police constable Vipul Sarvaiya who is placed with SOG Special Operations Group. Sarvaiya alleged that his senior PSI Police Sub Inspector LK Malviya attacked him when he was sleeping in his room. Also, water mixed with hot chutney was poured in his eyes and was beaten with a rope used to beat accused in police station. Mark of beating constable were clearly visible on the back of constable Sarvaiya.
As per constable, PSI used to every now and the demand money from him illegally fo which he has proof of it. Since he denied to give money he was beaten by PSI Malviya. Money was also demanded by Malviya for transferring constable out of SRP head quarter. If transfer is granted, constable can have a rise of rs 7000 to 8000 a month.
