Sahay becomes fourth DGP to get service extension
DGP Vikas Sahay present Director General of Police of Gujarat retiring on June 30, 2025 has been granted with 3 months extension. However, in public interest Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has granted him a six-month extension, allowing him to continue in the role until December 31, 2025. The decision follows routine administrative evaluation and acknowledges his performance amidst ongoing law-and-order challenges in the state.
