Hollywood star Brad Pitt was spotted wearing a stunning Tangaliya shirt—handwoven in Gujarat’s Surendranagar and Kachchh regions—while filming his upcoming movie F1, as part of promotional shoots and premiere events.
It’s made using the Tangaliya technique, a 700‑year‑old craft native to Gujarat, known for its embossed bead-like patterns called daana. The fabric is hand‑spun organic cotton, dyed naturally with indigo, woven over roughly 9 hours by skilled artisans.
Even Gujarat Tourism has proudly endorsed the event on its official instagram handle.
