Today, on 11/08/2025, at around 1:30 AM, near Nehrunagar Jhansi Ki Rani BRTS bus stand, Akram Altafbhai Qureshi ,age 22 and Ashfaq Jafarbhai Ajmeri ,age 35, both resident of Jamalpur were riding an Activa scooter (registration no. GJ 01 PX 9355) from Nehrunagar to Shivranjani. At that time, driver of a car (registration no. GJ 27 DM 9702), driving his vehicle at full speed and in a reckless manner, hit the Activa from behind, throwing both men onto the road. In the road accident Akram died on the spot. Injured Ashfaq was taken for treatment, but the on-duty doctor at Sola Civil Hospital declared him dead at 5:20 AM.
Inquest reports and post-mortem procedures were completed, and the bodies were sent for autopsy.
