Ahmedabad: today Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel visited Delhi . He is expected to meet Prime Minister of Narendra Modi. however there is no official announcement of the CM visit to PM till now.
The visit comes amid ongoing talks of a likely reshuffle and expansion of the state council of ministers. Since the 2022 state assembly elections, Bhupendra Patel has completed over half of his 5-years term. He has overall completed 4 years as Chief Minister. Some ministers of his cabinet lack visibility and have performance issues, others have attracted bad press due to their connections to scams, and due to this, a possible reshuffle in the cabinet is quite expected.
The visit also follows the appointment of Jagdish Vishwakarma as the new Gujarat party chief, which is now expected to be followed by the formation of a new leadership team for the state unit.
