Sachin Sanghvi, 45 years, who is part of the music-composer duo Sachin‑Jigar, was arrested in connection with allegations of sexual assault.
The arrest by Vile Parle police took place on 23 October 2025. The complaint alleges that a woman ,age 29, was approached by Sanghvi via Instagram in February 2024; she claims she was promised a role in a music album and even a marriage proposal, and then allegedly assaulted in his studio and his car.
The woman says the incident happened at his music studio, where the alleged promises and subsequent assault took place. He has reportedly been released on bail.
His lawyer has issued a statement denying the allegations, calling them “baseless and unsubstantiated.”
