Sabarkantha:In a major anti-narcotics operation, the Sabarkantha Special Operations Group (SOG) has arrested suspects from Lakhia village after conducting surveillance with drone technology. The action comes as part of an intensified crackdown on illegal drug activities in the Poshina region.

According to officials, the SOG team deployed drones to track suspicious movements in the remote terrain. Based on aerial input and ground intelligence, the team carried out a swift raid in Lakhia village, leading to the seizure of narcotic substances and the detention of key accused involved in the illegal trade.

Authorities stated that the use of drones greatly improved the accuracy and safety of the operation, enabling officers to monitor the area from above before making arrests.

The detained suspects are being interrogated, and further investigations are underway to identify the wider network linked to narcotics distribution in the region.
