According to police sources, the threat emails also carried demands related to the release of Khalistani leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar, making the messages appear politically motivated.

Senior police officials confirmed that a total of around 13 schools received threatening emails across the region. These include:
- Zydus School of Excellence
- Zebar School for Children
- Maharaja Agrasen Vidyalaya
- DAV International School
- Nirman School
- JG Genesis International
- Divine Child School
- Aavishkar School
After receiving the warning at around 10:00 am, Zydus School of Excellence immediately alerted authorities. Emergency teams were rushed to the campus and a large-scale search operation was launched.
Bomb detection and disposal squads, dog squads, police teams and fire department units conducted intensive checks across all reported campuses. So far, nothing suspicious has been recovered from any school.
Zone-7 DCP Shivam Verma stated that the situation is under control and there is no reason to panic, confirming that searches at the schools have yielded no explosive materials.
As a precautionary measure, several schools in Ahmedabad declared holiday and sent students home safely.
Police are now investigating the origin of the emails and cybercrime units are working to trace the sender.
More updates are awaited as the investigation continues.
