While it continues to entertain viewers with its highly captivating programming, this Uttarayan, Star Plus chose to celebrate love in a unique and culturally rooted way with Love Utsav.
This month-long initiative takes its iconic stories beyond the screen and into the skies, streets, and hearts of Gujarat.
The much-anticipated initiative was launched in the vibrant state of Gujarat on January 15, exactly one month ahead of Valentine’s Day, coinciding with the second day of Uttarayan. Marking the beginning of a month-long celebration of romance and togetherness, the launch event witnessed the presence of some of Star Plus’ most loved characters. Anupama, along with the leads of the upcoming show Tod Kar Dil Mera, Raj and Raushni, graced the occasion. Indian actress and singer Manasi Parekh was also present. Actor Maulik Chauhan hosted the event.
Anupama inaugurated Love Utsav by flying a golden kite, symbolically kickstarting the celebrations, while Raj and Raushni took to the skies with vibrant red kites. Manasi Parekh played a special role as the cultural bridge between Star Plus and Gujarat, warmly introducing Love Utsav to the gathered audience.
The launch was followed by a culturally rooted press conference and an immersive celebration of Gujarati traditions. From joyful kite flying to an intimate Undhiyu gathering, the day concluded on a heartfelt and festive note. Over the coming weeks, Love Utsav will continue to unfold through city-led celebrations and meaningful on-ground experiences, building up to a special Valentine’s Week finale.
