Ahmedabad, 3rd February 2026: Harshrajsinh Solanki, a student of Prin. M. C. Shah Commerce College, part of the Navgujarat group of colleges, brought glory to the college by securing the third prize in the elocution competition organized by Yuvak Vikas Trust on Gandhi Nirvana Day.
The competition witnessed the participation of 45 students from various colleges across Ahmedabad. The topic, “From Satyagraha to Social Media: Changing Forms of Resistance against Injustice,” was thought-provoking and effectively connected Mahatma Gandhi’s philosophy with the contemporary digital landscape.
In his speechHarshrajsinh Solankipresented a compelling comparison between the values of Satyagraha and the role of social media in today’s digital age, leaving a lasting impression on both the judges and the audience.
Harshrajsinh Solanki was honored with a certificate and a cash prize. The college principal, teachers and students congratulated Harshrajsinh for this achievement and wished him a bright future.
