Gandhinagar — An ‘At Home’ programme of NCC Gujarat was organised at Raj Bhavan, Gandhinagar, under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel.

During the event, the Chief Minister presented the ‘Inter Group Championship Banner of Gujarat’ to the NCC group that delivered the best performance in inter-group competitions. He also felicitated outstanding NCC cadets by awarding certificates and encouraged them for their exemplary achievements.

Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel said that the occasion was not only a celebration of the cadets’ achievements but also a celebration of the youth values of discipline, unity, and dedication towards the nation and the state. He described the National Cadet Corps (NCC) as one of the most effective platforms for nurturing self-confidence, discipline, sensitivity, and a ‘Nation First’ spirit among the youth.

The Chief Minister further noted that the NCC plays a vital role in realising Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’. Congratulating all the honoured cadets, he extended his best wishes for their future endeavours.
He also lauded the significant contribution of NCC cadets in Republic Day celebrations, the parade and Guard of Honour at Kartavya Path, the Prime Minister’s rally, and various cultural programmes, and urged them to remain committed to serving the nation with dedication and responsibility.
