Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi participated in ASSOCHAM’s “Gujarat: Powering Global Growth – Industry Interactive Session” held today at Adani Shantigram.

The event witnessed the presence of leading industrialists, investors, and entrepreneurs in large numbers. Addressing the gathering, the Deputy Chief Minister stated that ASSOCHAM is a valuable institution for the nation and has played a significant role in the industrial development of Gujarat and other states across India.

He emphasized that the state government remains committed to providing a favorable and secure environment for domestic as well as international investors. Highlighting the importance of Ease of Doing Business, he stated that the government is continuously working to ensure simple, transparent, and fast services for entrepreneurs.

The Deputy Chief Minister further informed that in the recent state budget, important provisions have been made for the development of 25 Smart GIDCs. These smart industrial estates will be equipped with modern infrastructure and facilities, thereby accelerating industrial growth in the state.

Expressing confidence in Gujarat’s industrial future, he stated that Gujarat will continue to emerge as the leading manufacturing hub of India. By 2035, the highest number of manufacturing companies in the country are expected to originate from Gujarat.

He also referred to the rapid development of ambitious projects such as GIFT City and Dholera SIR, stating that these initiatives are positioning Gujarat as a global center for investment and industry.

The session included important discussions aimed at strengthening collaboration and dialogue between the government and the industrial sector.

Mamta Verma, Additional Chief Secretary Shri Ashwini Kumar, Industries Commissioner Shri P. Swaroop, Secretary (Tourism) and Managing Director, DCIDL Shri Kuldeep Arya, Director of ASSOCHAM Shri Nirmal K. Minda, ASSOCHAM Gujarat Council Chairman and Co-Chairman Shri Chintan Thakkar, Shri Jaimin Shah, and other distinguished dignitaries.
