Big Fire incident created panic in Shyamal area of Ahmedabad

A fire incident created panic in the Shyamal area on Monday after flames broke out at the Shangrila Complex, a busy commercial-residential hub in the western part of Ahmedabad.

According to initial reports, the fire is believed to have started in the parking area of the complex, quickly spreading to multiple vehicles parked on the premises. Thick plumes of smoke were seen rising from the site, drawing attention from nearby residents and shop owners, many of whom rushed out in panic.

Several two-wheelers and cars were reportedly gutted in the blaze, though the exact number of damaged vehicles is yet to be officially confirmed. Fortunately, there have been no immediate reports of casualties or injuries so far.

Fire brigade teams reached the spot promptly after receiving the alert. Multiple fire tenders were deployed to control the situation. Firefighters launched an intensive operation, spraying continuous jets of water to contain the flames and prevent them from spreading to nearby buildings and upper floors of the complex.

Upon receiving information about the incident, the fire brigade and police team immediately rushed to the spot. All individuals present in the complex were safely evacuated. Fortunately, there was no loss of life in this incident. A janvajog entry has been registered at Anandnagar Police Station regarding this incident, and further investigation and necessary legal action have been initiated.
