Ahmedabad: Elected representatives of the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) reached the corporation office and submitted their election certificates, completing the formal joining process.
As part of the official provisions, the representatives will receive essential tools like laptops and printers to support their administrative responsibilities. Along with this, a structured allowance system has been put in place to facilitate their day-to-day work.
According to details, each representative will receive a monthly allowance of ₹12,000. Additionally, ₹1,000 per month has been allocated for stationery expenses, ₹1,500 for mobile recharge, and ₹500 will be provided for every meeting attended.
Officials stated that these benefits are aimed at ensuring smooth functioning and enabling representatives to effectively serve citizens in their respective wards. The initiative is expected to enhance efficiency, improve communication, and strengthen local governance.
The representatives expressed their commitment to addressing public issues promptly and contributing to the overall development of the city.
