Ahmedabad: Rotary Club of Ahmedabad Skyline celebrated its prestigious Sky Star Awards 2026 at Hotel Parterre, Thaltej, in the presence of several dignitaries from the Rotary family, club members, spouses and guests. The evening was a grand celebration of service, fellowship, leadership and entertainment, marking the remarkable success journey of Rotary Club of Ahmedabad Skyline during the year 2025–26. Under the dynamic leadership of President Rtn. Jagender Gupta, the club created history as he became the first president in the history of Rotary Ahmedabad to sponsor over six new clubs in one Rotary year.

During the year, the club spent more than ₹1 crore on seva activities and conducted over 50 days of fellowship and entertainment programs, making Skyline a shining example of balanced Rotary service, bonding and member engagement. The club also witnessed outstanding membership growth from 361 members to over 400 members, becoming the third largest Rotary club in India.

A special felicitation was also done for DGND Rtn. Vikram Thakkar and Sita Thakkar on their historic election victory with a record mandate for the Rotary year 2028–29. The program witnessed the distribution of over 40 awards to honour members, spouses, chairs, projects and contributors who played an important role in the success of the year. Among the prominent awardees, Rtn. Ashish Pandey was honoured with the prestigious Skyliner of the Year Award.
The Skyline Steadfast Award was presented to Rtn. Rekha Kabra and Rtn. Saurabh Khandelwal for their consistent support and contribution to Skyline. Akash House was declared the House of the Year, while Rtn. Varun Goyal received the Skyline Seva Sarthi Award for his excellent support in religious tour and charity initiatives. The award for Best Chair of the Year was presented to Rtn. Dr. Archana Shah, while the Best Project of the Year award went to Walk of Courage, a meaningful project dedicated to cancer survivors.
The Public Image Star Award was conferred upon Rtn. Vikas Thakkar of TVM Communications, and the Skyline Pillar of Support Award was presented to Rtn. CA Tarun Shah for his valuable contribution and support to the club. Adding to the festive spirit, the evening also featured a beautifully crafted and professionally executed Antakshari program among members. The entertainment segment was conducted by Rtn. Rakhee Khandelwal and Rtn. Saurabh Khandelwal, along with star performer Jyoti Christian, creating a memorable musical experience for all present.
