Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Wednesday unveiled the ‘Viksit Gujarat @ 2047’ Implementation Roadmap, prepared by the Gujarat State Institute for Transformation (GRIT) in collaboration with the General Administration Department, at an event held in Gandhinagar.

The roadmap was released in the presence of Finance Minister Kanubhai Desai, other state ministers, Chief Secretary M.K. Das, Chief Advisor to the Chief Minister Dr. Hasmukh Adhia, and senior government officials.

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister described the roadmap as a significant milestone in Gujarat’s long-term development journey, aligned with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’.

Bhupendra Patel said the Prime Minister’s vision of a developed India is founded on the principles of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas”, emphasizing that active participation by states is essential for achieving inclusive and comprehensive national development.
The Chief Minister further stated that the implementation roadmap will serve as a guiding framework for realizing the state government’s “Earning Well, Living Well” development model. He noted that the initiative aims to strengthen the economic foundation of citizens while enhancing overall quality of life, helping Gujarat move towards becoming a developed state by 2047.
The ‘Viksit Gujarat @ 2047’ roadmap is expected to provide a strategic direction for policy implementation, governance reforms, and sustainable economic growth in line with the broader national objective of building a developed India by the centenary of Independence.
