AHMEDABAD, INDIA — Gujarati cinema is set to introduce a refreshing family entertainer with the upcoming theatrical release of “DAMRU” on 23 October 2026. Blending comedy, suspense, emotional depth, and a meaningful social message, the film promises an engaging roller-coaster experience designed to appeal to audiences of all generations, from young children to senior citizens.

Produced by Ramesh Prajapati, Krupa Soni, and Sanjay Soni under the banners of Gujotsav Production and Vraj Films, DAMRU is directed by Hardik J. Pareekh and written by Rushikesh Thakkar and Nirav Joshi. The film brings together a distinguished ensemble cast featuring Sanjay Goradia, Nakshraaj, Nirav Mukesh Vaidya, Nirali Oza, Saurabh Rajyaguru, Maulik Chauhan, Hemang Dave, Sanjay Galsar, Bhargav Parmar, Makrand Shukla, Vishal Vaishya, Nischay Rana, Nishithkumar Bhrambhatt, Annapurna Shukla, Arati Soni, and Satish Bhatt.
Adding to the grand scale of the film, the promotional song is composed by acclaimed music director Parth Bharat Thakkar and rendered by prominent singers Bhoomi Trivedi and Jaysinh Gadhavi. Directed and choreographed by Prince Gupta with cinematography by Suraj Kurade, the song aims to deliver a high-energy visual experience. The film’s main cinematography is helmed by Dhruv Panchal, while the original soundtrack and background score are composed by Darshan Shah of Treehouse Studio. Ravish Jain serves as the production manager.
Ahead of its grand theatrical premiere, the makers have scheduled an exclusive song launch event in Ahmedabad. The day’s itinerary begins with the team seeking blessings at a local temple.
