Amdavad, September 7, 2026: India secured seven medals on Day 3 of the World Archery Para Series 2026, with Indian archers advancing to finals and medal matches across individual and team events
Sheetal Devi stormed into the final of the Para Compound Women’s individual event, assuring India of a medal. She will face Aizada Seidan of Kazakhstan in the final on September 9

In the Para Compound individual events, Sarita will compete for bronze in the women’s category, while Toman Kumar will compete for bronze in the men’s category. In the Para Recurve Women’s individual event, Bhawna and Rajshri Dhanraj Rathod will face each other in the bronze medal match, guaranteeing another medal for India. Swati Chaudhary will also compete for bronze in the W1 Women’s individual event

India secured podium finishes across all three Para Recurve team events. Harvinder Singh and Vijay Sundi advanced to the final of the Para Recurve Men’s Team event, while Bhawna and Pooja reached the final of the Para Recurve Women’s Team event. Harvinder Singh and Bhawna also secured their place in the final of the Para Recurve Mixed Team event

In Para Compound Men’s Team, Toman Kumar and Shyam Sunder Swami advanced to the final, assuring another medal for India. Sheetal Devi and Payal Nag will compete for bronze in the Para Compound Women’s Team event

The W1 Mixed Team pair of Adil Mohamed Nazir Ansari and Swati Chaudhary also advanced to the final, securing another medal for India
With seven medals secured, including multiple places in finals and medal matches, the competition now heads into its concluding stages, with the medal matches scheduled for September 8 and 9 at the World Archery Para Series 2026 in Amdavad
