Sonam emerges as India’s highest scorer in Women’s 10m Air Rifle Team event
Western Railway shooter Ms. Sonam Uttam Maskar has brought laurels to the nation and Western Railway by winning a Silver Medal for India in the Women’s 10m Air Rifle Team event at the Asian Games 2026. The Indian team secured the Silver Medal with a combined score of 1898.0 points. According to a press release issued by Chief Public Relations Officer, Western Railway, Shri Vineet Abhishek, Ms. Maskar, who works at Western Railway’s Headquarters Office at Churchgate, delivered an impressive performance in the team event. She registered 634.1 points, the highest score among the Indian team members. Her performance made a significant contribution to India securing the Silver Medal in the event.
Ms. Maskar also made her mark in the Women’s 10m Air Rifle Individual Final, putting up a strong performance. Western Railway is proud of Ms. Maskar’s remarkable achievement at the Asian Games 2026.
