06 October 2026 Ahmedabad: For the past 17 years, ‘Amritayu Anandotsav’ has been organized across various parts of the world by Peacemaker Manashree. This time, Ahmedabad’s ‘Sunshine Lab’ served as the venue for its Gujarat edition.
With the support and cooperation of Sunshine Lab and co-host Riddhi Patel, a grand and successful event was organized on the auspicious occasion of Navratri, Durga Puja, and Dussehra. The primary objective of this unique festival was to connect children with Indian cultural heritage, moral values, and traditions, while also promoting modern education and social harmony.
The event commenced on a heartfelt note in the presence of children from the Thaltej Mathuranagri area and renowned social educator Rupal Barot. The evening was packed with cultural and creative activities designed specially for the children. Under the guidance of Sushma Lama, an expert from the Sunshine Lab Cooking Academy, children enthusiastically participated in a Hanuman-themed saffron cupcake-making workshop.
Following this, lawyer and POCSO advocate Anisha Kapoor hosted a storytelling session featuring the bravery and inspiring inner strength of Maa Durga, instilling moral values in the children. For entertainment, an ‘Iridescent Bubble Spectacle’ (a magical colorful bubble show) was organized, filling the entire atmosphere with joy and laughter.
Additionally, special ‘STEM Play and Exploration’ activities were conducted to foster scientific thinking and inquiry among the children. Nutritious and delicious refreshments were provided for all attending children. Event co-host Riddhi Patel (a social entrepreneur and parenting coach) is dedicatedly working towards the holistic development of children by blending modern STEM education with Indian heritage. Sharan Delhiwala and Bihag Srinivas captured the beautiful moments of the event through photography. The organizers expressed their gratitude to the Jodhpur Art Gallery (AMC) and Mr. Amit Barot for their special support and encouragement.
